We are using it this year and really like it. We started after finishing WWE 3, but didn't want to move on to WWE 4. It is very similar to WWE. We want to continue on to Classical Composition next year. The Intro to Composition is set up for 3 days a week. The first day is reading the story and then going through questions and creating a summary. They other two days are short dictations.

My kids love all the literature selections. the lit guides have vocabulary, comprehension question, some copywork, etc.... normallly after each chapter.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks! Is the reading only 3 days a week as well? Or is it 5? And about how much reading is assigned daily?

Also, do they give guidance in narrations or is it just, summarize in 3-4 sentences?

Thank you!

The reading is four days a week with Friday a "free read " day. It is about a chapter a day, but I wouldn't worry about sticking to it strictly unless you want to finish in their time free. For one of my kids we slow it down but do five days a week.

For the summary you do the guided questions first before doing the summary to help guide the summary. The teacher's guide has a sample answer for the questions and summary. The first page of the guide gives guidance on how to do the lessons. For the summaries it talks about have the students (or one if you are just working with one) offer summaries that you write down. You think work together to edit and the students copy the completed summary.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
