Mom28kds
I actually need to buy the stuff tomorrow but I'm having a bridal shower for my daughter and I said I would do a cheeseball because I figured it would be good. Now I need a good recipe, haha (easy also). Any suggestions? If push comes to shove I'll buy one but I figured I could get some good ideas for all the Mom's on here :)

PBnJ
This one is pretty good: http://www.macheesmo.com/2010/12/cheese-ball/
Desert Rat
I just use cream cheese and green onions. I add a bit of sour cream or mayo to thin it a bit. I use a food processor to cream it smooth. Love it!
Jaybee
This is our favorite--and everyone raves over it when we take it somewhere, even though some of the ingredients do not sound like they'd get along together ;) : 2 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained (6 oz.) 2 cups chopped pecans (you can use less--maybe 1 cup?-recipe calls for saving back 1/2 cup to roll the ball in, but we just mix it in) 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese 1 tsp. seasoning salt Mix in order. Chill well and serve. :drool5:
Pippen
This one is pretty good: http://www.macheesmo...12/cheese-ball/ I make one that is similar except I add diced chipped beef. I always use yellow pepper for cheese balls because it doesn't overwhelm like green.

melissad2
The one I like uses finely shredded sharp cheese (16oz), 1 very finely chopped onion, 1 cup finely chopped pecans (or more if desired), enough mayo to hold it together. Serve with wheat thins!
