It's on sale today for $54.99 locally + I have a 30% off coupon.

Tell me what I need to buy while I'm there to get me started (or if I should just buy the machine and order other supplies later). I have about an hour before dh gets home and I need to get out the door and start :driving: .

Baby is super fussy and so I can't devote a couple of hours to reading lots of threads. If there's a great thread out there, point the way, otherwise please help! I'll send you virtual brownies.

Thanks!

You need the machine and spines to get started. If you want covers you can get those too. Make sure to get the appropriate spines for how many pages you will be binding.

Yep. The spines have the little tool for opening and closing them in the box. Covers are nice, but not essential. I  my proclick.

Actually, I decided that I need an inexpensive laser printer to go with my Proclick. :D I have a little too much fun printing and binding stuff.

Get a pack of spines (look at the capacity, the ones I bought are 1/2" and can hold 85 sheets). I got some black covers for the back and clear covers for the front - but those are totally optional, you could use construction paper.

Thanks! A Brother 2270dw printer arrived at my house this week....it's opening up whole new worlds of possibility for me. :)

I bought one 25pk of spines to get me started.

I'm glad it was such a great deal.....the clerk who checked me out forgot to apply my coupon and was otherwise so unhelpful that I remembered why I don't shop at my local store often. That probably saves me money, though. I super puffy heart love office supplies.

That stinks about the customer service but excited for you and your new "toys".
