Whereneverever
I am strongly considering this for my current 3rd grader. She's been doing writing tales and doesn't love it. Anyone using this? Opinions?
WiseOwlKnits
We're using it for 3rd grade currently. I love it and so does DD. Do you have any specific questions about it that I could answer?
Whereneverever
Do you feel like it's pretty complete? How long does it take per day, and how much parental help does it take?

Yes, I feel like it's complete and that DD is/has gotten a thorough foundation in LA from it. A lot of people feel that you need to use a supplemental writing program with it. We don't, but DD *loves* to write and we do a lot of writing with other subjects. It takes us about 15 minutes of review and introduction of whatever the new topic is. When we get to the We Remember section, I let her do it on her own while I work with her brother. That part takes her about 20 minutes.
