Ann.without.an.e
I am looking for an art curriculum that my oldest daughter can use to teach art to her siblings. She is talented but doesn't know where to start when it comes to teaching them. Siblings are 10 and almost 12 and they want real art (sketching, pastels, shading, etc) not art appreciation or little kid art. Any thoughts? threedogfarm
I would wholeheartedly recommend Art Lab for Kids by Susan Schwake. It will have everything they want and more (print making anyone?????). It's very easy to follow and set up. Just check out the list of materials that she calls for at the beginning of the book. You might not have everything at home. http://www.amazon.com/Art-Lab-Kids-Adventures-Printmaking/dp/1592537650/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362169669&sr=8-1&keywords=art+lab+for+kids
Kalmia
This one is nice: http://www.amazon.com/Dynamic-Projects-Children-Step-step/dp/1562903500/ref=pd_sim_b_2 Art for Kids Drawing and Art for Kids Drawing in Color by Kathryn Temple are really good. I think Rainbow Resource has them.

It's a great book. My girls used charcoal and rubbed eraser yesterday and created some awesome pictures. It's very easy to use and offers a wide variety of projects. Ann.without.an.e
So many choices. I am attracted to atelier but I am afraid of spending THAT much and not liking it. Thanks for the amazon links, those looks good.
