Laura Corin
Hobbes was assessed by the orthodontist today. Not only are his front teeth quite seriously poking forwards, but some of his bottom teeth are damaging the top gums. All of this means......... he's highly likely to get free braces from the National Health Service! That morning's work probably made me £2,000! Laura Corin
Ok Laura, 'splain to me how you MAKE money off your kids having bad teeth. I don't understand... I just 'made' the money by not having to spend it on braces - his teeth are so badly out of whack that the bill for the braces is picked up by the NHS. Laura Corin
Congratulations! Sure beats having bad teeth in Dallas(isn't that where your dh is from?) Yes, that's right. Husband has straight top teeth and wonky bottom teeth. The top ones were straightened, then the ortho said, 'Okay, time to do the bottom ones.' Husband decided it was a big scam (why not do them all at the same time?) and refused to have his second set of braces. So his British, NHS-sponsored sons are going to end up with straighter teeth than he has. Strange but true. Laura
