Explode the Code 3 vs. 3 1/2?

Recommended Posts

More or less, but there is a couple-page section on short long-vowel words like "go, me, hi, we, no" and the -y ending "cry, fry, dry, fly" that is missing in the 3 1/2. Otherwise, the content is identical.

Don't worry. Your previous answer was good enough so I just placed my order.

I can also easily resell them (if it's legal?) Because Youngest does not like writing in the work book and we always do it orally.

We didn't use them much while my older son was learning to read, but now we're starting to use them to reinforce spelling and my younger son is working along orally to learn to read. ;)

My older son will attend a charter that does Spalding, so I figure ETC will be a nice, more pattern-based reinforcement at home. Plus, you know, we own them. Still debating if I'll have him write in them, though... because then I'll have to buy new ones for #2! So far we've been using a Workbook window.

Eldest had an easier time learning to read, so we didn't have them for him. With Youngest I am having to do many more things. The good news is it use to be two steps forward, two steps backwards. Now we are no longer going backwards. :)
