milovany
After the Oscars the other night? I have been laughing over and over again since yesterday whenever I watch it. Lawrence is being interviewed by George Stephanopoulos after winning the Best Actress Oscar and Nicholson comes up to say hi. Their repartee, and her reaction, is hilarious. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/entertainment/2013/02/jennifer-lawrences-oscars-interview-interrupted-by-jack-nicholson/
Joker
I watched it online and thought it was pretty funny. I like her and she seems to just be who she is whether the camera is on her or not.

Alexigail
There's another one on Hulu where she gets asked about her fall and it is hilarious.

Wheres Toto
I think she seems so sweet and so real. I've seen a lot about some of her older interviews and she just says what she thinks. It's a nice switch from the usual Hollywood.
redsquirrel
I loved her press conference just after she won the award. I love how she gives stupid questions the answer they deserve. Oh when she fell... She was there with her mom and I kept thinking that her mom would have been saying, "If you win, you will be fine. Just smile and don't trip." Slartibartfast
I do like her, she does seem very real. I admit I laughed when she flipped off the press.

sparrow
I really like her, but I'll never shake hands with her. I read the Rolling Stone interview where she said she doesn't wash her hands after using the bathroom :tongue_smilie: .
Guest inoubliable
Aww. I have no idea who she is, but she's adorable in that clip! (Off to check IMDB now...)

kubiac
All I could think was that Jack Nicholson is NOT to be trusted around 22-year-old girls! (I was very impressed with her in The Hunger Games although I didn't like her in X-Men First Class. Will give her a second chance in X-Men Days of Future Past and hope to learn I was mistaken the first time around.)
redsquirrel
Has anyone seen WInter's Bone? She was nominated for that, and it was her first major role. I haven't seen it but my mom raved about it. She also raved about Silver Linings Playbook. When I told her it was the same actress her jaw dropped. She didn't believe me at first. I did see Winter's Bone. It was about a tough poor girl living Appalachia, she takes care of her family, can shoot, skins squirrels, has an absent father, useless mother, she has a mentor with addiction issues (meth) ....sounding familiar? It is easy to see her as Katniss, she had already played the part. The similarities between the two characters is striking. However unlike Hunger Games, Winter's Bone is NOT for kids. It is very violent and gruesome, more so than HG. regentrude
Winter's Bone was fabulous. Small correction: the movie does not play in Appalachia, but rather in the Missouri Ozarks, close to the Arkansas border. It is after a book which is great as well. (the authors lives in that area) I did see Winter's Bone.
