Laurie4b
I am planning on purchasing Brainware Safari for my ds with some needs in the area of working memory and the visual-spatial realm. He is almost 12. His younger bro, almost 10, doesn't seem to have any weaknesses in these areas, so I'm wondering if I should just get the software licensed for one, or if you think it's worth an extra $50 for a second sibling. apheartsong
We bought ours through the Homeschool Buyers Co-op. They have extended the $49 price through Oct 31. I bought licenses for my husband, myself, my ds nearly 9, and dd5. We have all been enjoying it. There are still a few areas my husband and I haven't gotten through all the way. If you have the funds, I would recommend it. Some of the exercises are similar to what I am working on through a neurodevelopmentalist. So the co-op price is a steal for us and gives variety to my exercises for visual and auditory processing deficiencies, long-term memory, short-term memory, and I can't remember what else. lol We worked on it diligently the first few weeks. Then life got a little crazy and it has been on the back burner for quite a while. HTH Allison
