My kids aren't even the right age but that Equine science tempts me. They say with children involvement it can be used with a 2nd Grader . . . Hmmm.

I found it much cheaper to get all the books on Amazon, and only bought the guide and notebook from WP. That's a good sale on those, but then you would still need to pay to have the notebook printed, so youd have to figure out the cost of that, and if it's still worth it.

That's good to know, thanks.

What age/grade level is the Equine Science book? One of DD's PS friends is very into horses and plans to become a Veterinarian, and DD's current goal is to become an Exotic Vet, so the other mom and I were discussing doing a summer co-op focused on their animals and vet care, with a lot of animal anatomy/physiology, some business math, filing/record keeping, and lots of books about animals, but having a resource built around the specific animal would be a help (I kind of doubt anyone has a "reptilian science" book, but DD is getting the class notes/videos/resources from a class on conservation of reptiles and amphibians from a university prof now, so I think we could make that work).

Not quite reptilian science, but the Boy Scout merit badge guides are very well written, imo, and cost less that $5.

Here is a link to the Reptile and Amphibian Study merit badge requirements.
