SKL
In talking to my kids about character development, I would like to be able to quote kid-friendly, pertinent Bible "zingers" to them when they need guidance. (They are 6.) I'm always pressed for time, so a really convenient reference would be best. Any ideas? PS, I don't have a smartphone or ipad, so I was hoping for something made of paper. Thanks! Janie Grace
This is really good. http://www.christianbook.com/wise-words-for-moms/ginger-plowman/9780966378665/pd/78660 Click on "Sample" and you can see it. It's exactly what you're asking for, I think.

acurtis75
I find the charts and reference materials from this site very helpful. I've used them with dd7 many times and with students in Sunday school classes. The brother offended chart is great for dealing with conflict between siblings and/or friends and the short and sweet booklet comes with advice for dealing with the offended, the offender & the judge (generally mom) which is helpful for me. CupOCoffee
Ooh, that chart from Ginger Plowman is really good! I have that one. Also, there is this freebie for printing. It doesn't list the verses by problem (like Plowman does), but it lists them by positive character traits, so you would have to work backwards. This one is awesome and I have started using this with my DD. ~coffee~
