sbgrace
I know I have low progesterone. I know that's not good for me but not much else. Is there a cream that really works? Or a better way? A doctor once told me he doesn't like the creams as dosing is so irratic with them. I tried one once that didn't seem to do anything anyway. I'd love it if someone could educate me or provide recommendations?
Miss Peregrine
I use Naturezone brand. The pump is metered.
momofkhm
I've used two. I started with this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FF9OLQ/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It worked wonderfully but I sometimes had a hard time rubbing it all in. Now I use this one http://www.amazon.com/Life-flo-Life-Flo-Progesta-Care-Mist-1-Ounce/dp/B001J8SRGG/ref=sr_1_35?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1361564119&sr=1-35 Same company and it works for me. raceNzanesmom
I've used several natural progesterone creams. They've all worked well for me and I greatly appreciate the natural option. Good info here and here. I haven't used their specific creams, just similar ones. The info is good tho.
Flowing Brook
I have recommended and seen good results with a product called pit lyph whole. It is a product that causes the body to make progesterone itself. A lot of mothers that have recurring miscarriages because of low progesterone are able to carry to term using this natural product. Staceyshoe
I would call a compounding pharmacy and talk with the pharmacist there about options. Often they work in collaboration with drs and make customized bio-identical hormones, monitor levels to make sure your hormones are in a good range---and it's very economical because these products can't be patented (since they are a natural substance). I'm personally not a fan of synthetic hormones, and many natural remedies (including OTC creams) are way too low of a dose if your levels are very low. dsmith
I've been using this: http://www.amazon.com/Progesterone-Plus-Herbs-Soy-Free-Paraben-Free/dp/B0029EM256/ref=pd_sim_hpc_29 I can't say my symptoms have gone away, but they are reduced. I have trouble rubbing it all in so I started doing one pump three times a day. It states that it is vanilla scented, but it almost smells like a mixed herbal scent with lavender. It is not overpowering and fades rather quickly.
