songsparrow
There are times when I'd like my kids to have their cell phone and id with them (e.g., classes, field trips) but they don't have pockets that are a good size to hold them or they're not carrying a bag. How do your kids like to manage this - wristlet? lanyard? clipped onto belt loop? another way?
kewb
If my dd does not have a pocket I have her bring a purse.
TravelingChris
Normally a purse, sometimes a backpack,or a fanny pack. Right now, she has a unique way- her full length knee brace has a gap in the front that fits her cell phone very nicely.
Remudamom
I thought I had the perfect answer for you and now I can't find the link. I've got a very small holder that velcros to my boot that is for horseback riding. They're cheap and they work well. I'll keep looking. Trilliums
DS usually keeps his phone in his backpack, but for a few outings he has used a belt clip. He doesn't normally wear a belt though, so it isn't his preference. DH carries his phone on a belt clip every day. Pretty sure he has this one: http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Defender-Holster-Packaging-iPhone/dp/B0060BA5FI/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1361542368&sr=8-6&keywords=otter+belt+clip It did break for DH after about 18 months but he replaced with same item since he overall likes the snug fit of it. You don't have to remember to pick it up/accidentally set it down, etc. But its there when you need it.
Julie in CA
The boys always have pockets, the girls put their phone in "the vault" if they don't have pockets. ;)
Guest inoubliable
My boys carry "man-bags". Small version of a messenger bag. They use them to keep wallets, keys, cell phones, pens, date books, plastic dinosaur toys...
ChocolateReignRemix
Ok, no offense, but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a fanny pack. Right now I am imaging my younger son's reaction if I told him to wear a fanny pack. >>>> :glare:

Mélie
When I run or when my boys carry our extra cell phone, we use a SPIbelt. It's sort of a sporty, not-quite-as-embarrassing fanny pack.

I kind of like the idea of the leg/riding pouch too!

Beth in OH
With a dd a bra strap is very handy at holding things. I've been on crutches for a broken leg for the past five weeks, and never again will I judge anyone who stores items in their bra!
