Safe headphones

I'm looking for kid headphones that will stay under a certain volume/decibel to protect the ears.

 

I've seen some, but I was wondering if anyone had a favorite.

I bought some at Target. I think they were Sony. They were ok but we only used them on long trips and they didn't last a year.

Now we just use regular ones and I make surprise volume checks.

I bought Kidz Gear based on amazon reviews. They've survived several years here.

i just want sturdy ones - ds 9 has twisted up the cords of two . . . dh had the same brand, so it must be something ds is doing
