Luanne
Always remember to turn on your phone before you lose it so when you call it, you can find yourself.
Dandelion
Yes, but the trick is knowing ahead of time that you're going to lose it, so that you're reminded to turn it on. :tongue_smilie: I'm sorry - losing your phone stinks. Hope you find it soon!
Luanne
I didn't actually lose my phone. This just came to mind yesterday because I usually keep my phone on vibrate. I thought maybe I should start turning it on just in case I lose it. And actually, my daughter is the one who should keep her phone on since she is much more likely to lose it than I am. athena1277
That's why you have to be sure to leave it on vibrate. Then you can turn all the noise making things in the house off and send the kids to different rooms to listen for the vibrate. Can you tell I've done this before? :blushing:

Excelsior! Academy
I used to keep a phone case that attached to my keys. I could call my phone or keys that way. It won't help if your phone is turned off, of course.
Critterfixer
Another word of wisdom regarding phones: Always double check your pocket before washing your work pants. Even if you never, ever, ever have your phone in your pants pocket.... And did you know that the console cup holders in your vehicle may indeed be water tight? Two new phones this weekend based on failing to heed those warnings.
Garga
If your kids are too young to open the doors by themselves when asked, always keep your keys in your pocket in case you accidentally get locked out and your babies are locked in. Erica in OR
That would mean I'd actually remembered to keep the phone charged so it would stay on. :) My tip of the day: Be sure to check there's toilet paper left on the roll *before* you sit down.
