Danestress
Both of my boys got their drivers permit today. I would just like to say that the hours I spent in the drivers seat today while they took turns driving me around were exhausting. It's going to be a long year. I must have blocked all memory of doing this with my oldest. How long does it take to get comfortable with this?
gaillardia
I refuse to do it since my kids don't really MIND me when I say, "Slow down. SLOW DOWN! YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN FOR THIS TURN!!!!" So I let my dh do it. It's very strange to observe the different driving styles. I don't think my dh is very cautious, but our oldest ds is, and another son drives in a way that makes me just want to close my eyes or get out. And he has his license. I don't think some of us will ever be comfortable with some of our children driving. :glare:
PuddleJumper1
I've only done it with one so far and I thought that would do me in. I can't imagine two at once. There should be some sort of award for that !
Elinor Everywhere
I'm heading down this road in 1 1/2 months. Eek! My dd is so excited, and she insists we go on the exact date of her 15 1/2 birthday.
Laura Corin
I'm so glad that you can't drive here until you are 17. Laura
