Guest Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Overdrive is a program that many libraries use for checking out digital/e-books, right? If your library uses it, I have a question - I used to be able to save books to a list, and then from that list I could see which books are available and which have people holding for it. They seemed to have changed the interface, and now I can't tell if books already have holds unless I click each book separately. It's driving me nuts! Is there hopefully just a setting I need to re-configure? Quote
Mom-ninja. Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Well, on my list in the upper right hand corner there's a little icon (either a book or headphone) and if the book is not available the icon is ghosted out. Quote
MomtoCandJ Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 When you do a search there is a button you can click for available now :) Quote

Oh my word, you just saved my sanity. YES. I just checked and am so relieved. I was so frustrated and didn't even notice that. Thank you so much!!!! Quote
Mom-ninja. Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 You're welcome. I don't think I've ever been noted for saving someone's sanity. :D Quote
KatieJ Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 I am trying to figure this list thing out. My library gives me the option of making a wish list. I don't see any icons next the titles. I still have to click on the title to see if it's available but it also tells me how many people are watiing on that book. I can click a box to only show me books that are a vailable, but I don't think that is what the OP meant. Quote
