sewgirlie
Do you know of one? I'm looking for my 8 yo and my 13 yo. Maybe 2 seperate books are needed? Thanks, Carrie
clemota
There's this one for 10 & up. If you're reading aloud to the 8 year old, or he's a good reader, it'd work - there are lots of pictures to look at and keep his interest. If you're looking for more hands-on information, something to consider is Microscope Adventure , which uses the Usborne book and others as a reference: it teaches how to use the microscope through actual use. It's graded for upper elementary, but I think the 8 year old could tag along on the experiment side, while the 13 year old goes more in depth. I'm planning on using it this spring with a 10 and 5 year old - though I'm not expecting much more than "looking thorough the microscope" type activities for the younger. -Gabrielle

Once
Thanks for the link to Microscope Adventures. Could you tell me where I would find the list of resources/books used? I was wondering if I already had the Usbourne book.
