KungFuPanda
I've found myself defending PS since my daughter entered as a Freshman last February. As a long-time homeschooler, I was delightfully surprised at how WARM and nice the staff and teachers were and that they accepted her first semester homeschooling credits. My daughter came home with video on her phone of a singing telegram she got in class from the Boys' quartet. Turns out it was a Valentine's fundraiser and the kids could sent their friends singing telegrams throughout the day. The teachers allowed the telegrams in class and the quartets roamed the school singing all day. This is just one example of interesting and cool stuff I would expect typical administrators to squash. Well, it turns out that her principle is a homeschooler! His kids homeschool K-8 with mom, then go to high school with dad. No wonder we like this school :-)
Snow
What are the chances?! That sounds like the perfect scenario. So glad it's working for you.

I didn't read all the posts from the thread about homeschool fails, but imo, this is not one you should count - sounds like a win all the way around!
