Luanne
Winston Churchill's A History of the English Speaking People in four volumes. Is anyone using this? Are your student/s enjoying it? Do you think they are good books to use?
Kendall
I enjoyed them. My 9th grader has read most of them before this year, but he is a Churchill fan and he loves history. One son read one of them his senior year. I bought him a older copy that had nice wide margins and for some of the year he wrote a brief phrase of sentence summarizing each sentence. I think he liked reading them and tolerated summarizing.
