EKS Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Has anyone here tried using WWS for afterschooling? We used volume 1 last year when we were still homeschooling and I was beyond impressed. I'd like to try volume 2 when it comes out, but I know from volume 1 that it's a lot of work. Any experience with this? Thanks! Quote
ElizabethB Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Possible if you let him type everything and worked for a certain amount of minutes as long as he focuses or broke it up. Maybe 1/2 day at a time? I gave my daughter the option of 1/2 day four days a week or a full day two days a week. We are doing a full day 2 days a week. The other 3 days, we do vocabulary, spelling, grammar, etc. If it is particularly long I will sometimes break it up, allowing an additional day. Your afterschooling sounds like more work than homeschooling! :grouphug: Quote
EKS Posted February 20, 2013 Author Posted February 20, 2013 Yes, I think I'm going to have to have him split lessons over two (or more) days. He already types everything, so that's set in stone. Afterschooling does seem to be more work than homeschooling. It's such a pain having to pick up the slack created by teachers that just don't get it. Quote
