twinmami01
I took the leftover chili out the fridge to reheat and I forgot all about it. I meant to stick it in the oven to reheat and didn't realize I left it on the counter for about a half hour. Is it safe to reheat or will we be having frozen pizzas for dinner? Miss Peregrine
I wouldn't think twice about eating it.
Night Elf
I'm sure it would be okay. It probably sits out longer than that at a potluck dinner. :)
Lisa in SC
I'd serve it/eat it with no reservations.

Unicorn.
It's probably still cold! Unless it was overnight, it's fine.
twinmami01
Yes, it was still cold. Thanks ladies! I sure don't want to be wasteful.
edelweiss
I am super, super cautious about food. I have thrown out lots of food that others would likely eat because I want to play it safe. With that being said, I wouldn't be at all concerned about what you are describing. I'd definitely eat it.

FriedClams
I'd make sure I brought it to a boil and I'd eat it. With Fritos. ;-)
twinmami01
Well we ate it- with grilled cheese sandwiches, but now I wish I had some more to eat with fritos. LOL! Of course, I never told anyone else about my blunder because they probably wouldn't have eaten it. ;)
