Interestingly, although no one has ever accused me of being an engineer-type person, I said something similar to my daughter not that long ago.

 

She thought it was hysterical that her mother was suggesting it might be prudent to at least consider that all of her friends might, in fact, be jumping off the bridge for a very good reason.
