AdventureMoms Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 That is hilarious. I nearly spit tea on my phone. Quote
dhudson Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 My levelheaded engineer type teenager laughed out loud. Quote
Susann Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 I never could use that argument on my dds! Quote
Jean in Newcastle Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Yes, ds sent that to me the last time I said "If all the other kids. . ." Quote
dirty ethel rackham Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 My math/science geek said "Of course! Makes sense to me!" He loves this strip, BTW. He has a couple shirts from that strip from ThinkGeek. Quote
KrissiK Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 That's funny. I'll have to show dh, he's a ME. Quote
happyhomemaker Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I told my mom something similar. It did not go over well. Quote
Dandelion Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 LOL. Can't wait to show this to DS. Hmmm, wait - I might be giving up some leverage if I do that.... :tongue_smilie: Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Interestingly, although no one has ever accused me of being an engineer-type person, I said something similar to my daughter not that long ago. She thought it was hysterical that her mother was suggesting it might be prudent to at least consider that all of her friends might, in fact, be jumping off the bridge for a very good reason. Quote
