Melissa in Australia
Can I please throw a tantrum I want to do one where I lie on the floor and kick my legs and scream. I am sure I will feel better afterwards. What I need is a tantrum throwing smiley then I will feel better.

thessa516
I think a 30 minute temper tantrum would be equivalent to 30 minutes of running. Call it exercise.

Jeannie in NJ
sometimes when I get mad or frustrated about something, I would love to throw things but then the rational side of me knows exactly WHO would have to clean the mess up and that deflates my anger. shanvan
I think we should have a daily tantrum thread. 14 yr old Ds just had a verbal tantrum that lost him his iPod and Kindle and required a writing assignment plus a written apology. And now, I think I should be allowed to throw at least the equivalent.
nmoira
Once I was waiting in the parents' lounge at my kids gymnastics, at what was probably the most sleep deprived stage of my parenthood. Another parent took her full-on tantruming toddler out to their car "for a nap," and I almost cried with jealousy. I clearly remember thinking... 'Well, if that's all it takes to get a nap... I can do that.'
