momto10blessings
Who do I take him to? Pediatrician or Pediatric Dentist? If the Ped is just going to send me to the Ped Dentist or somewhere else I'd rather skip the visit to the Ped. Thanks!
Dmmetler
I'd go for the pediatric dentist-IME, pediatricians don't do much if anything with teeth.
Dandelion
DS had this, but he was much older than your little guy (so we just worked with his regular dentist). I would call a Pediatric Dentist and see what they recommend. They should be able to advise you of the approach they normally take with babies in this situation, so you can proceed from there. Jann in TX
Skip the Ped-- they don't do teeth! If you call them they will say " sure bring XXXXX in" then charge you for the visit so you can hear them say== we dont' do teeth...
Arcadia
Go to the pediatric dentist. The dentist might need to do an x-ray of that tooth.

Candid
I'd go for the pediatric dentist-IME, pediatricians don't do much if anything with teeth. :iagree: I know because I had an issue at a similar age that my ped didn't even see me just referred me at the first instance of the tooth word. indigomama
DS 4 has two sets of incisors D (I think they are called), anyways, the pediatric dentist, said they won't do anything, just will wait till they fall out. If he grows two sets of permanent teeth, then he will have to have the second sets removed. He wasn't really worried until it came time for his permanent teeth.
