MerryAtHope Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Don't fix it! Feel better? Sounds like you have a touch of Grass is Greener Syndrome :-). Or, maybe you're just a tad bored or have hit a Homeschool Slump? Maybe one of these articles will help. Merry :-) Quote
UrbanSue Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Because it's February. You're fine. Go read a novel or redecorate or something :) Quote
MommaOfalotta Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Because we are homeschoolers! A perfect evening to me would be a glass of wine, popping in a movie and browsing the Rainbow Resource catalog with highlighter in hand ;) Its who we are! Quote
atozmom Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Because we are homeschoolers! A perfect evening to me would be a glass of wine, popping in a movie and browsing the Rainbow Resource catalog with highlighter in hand ;) Its who we are! Well hot tea and chocolate for me. :001_smile: I would also have my my laptop right next to me so I can research the curriculum I highlighted in the Rainbow catalog. Even if it's something I have looked into before. :tongue_smilie: Quote
redsquirrel Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 No, no, and no. Do not do it! It is ok to window shop, but don't give in. Use it as an opportunity to reflect upon how wonderful your own choices have been. Hey, do a search through some old threads and read how people regret switching etc. Quote
threedogfarm Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 If it isn't broken and you don't need to fix it--you'll have more money to spend on the extras and the fun things! Does that help? Quote
PachiSusan Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 If it is truly working, don't mess with it. If there's a niggling thing in the back of your head telling you that it really isn't, then I would pursue that and find out what it is that's bugging you. Quote
Parrothead Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Stay away from the curriculum board. Quote
PachiSusan Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Stay away from the curriculum board. Ha ha ha!!!! So true!!! Quote
CAmomof4 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 All I can say is... I wish the public school officials would agonize over their curriculum choices half as much as we do! Quote

It really is working well, but there's always that, "Am I doing enough?" in my head. :willy_nilly: Plus, it's the looming LOGIC STAGE that's scaring the pants off of me. Quote

I think each new stage scared me, LOL! There usually is some kind of learning curve, but the same is true in every stage of our child's development. First babies, then potty training...always a challenge and something to learn. But you will, and you'll grow right along with your child. Merry :-) Quote
