happyWImom
Somehow, I got put in charge of our HS Group Easter Party, and I am really stumped. We had a Thanksgiving Party, and the older kids did a skit, we played games, did crafts & had a potluck. Those are the things we typically do for our group parties. I don't want to do the skit thing, so what other things could I do during that time???? I want to have something that gets into the meaning of Easter, but can't think of how to do a presentation type thing. I've been Googling all morning. Help! mom2att
We had the kids make Resurrection Eggs at one of our Easter parties years ago. Google that and you'll come up with various lists of relatively inexpensive and/or easy to gather supplies. Have each child bring an empty egg carton and a dozen multicolored plastic eggs, set up stations for filling each egg, and you've got a great activity. The book Benjamin's Box goes along well as a read-aloud.
