poiema Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 This morning, my 9 month old puppy wouldn't eat his breakfast and he whimpered and whined like he was hurt. This only went on for about 10-15 minutes, but he still didn't eat his breakfast for at least another hour. But now he is back to normal - running, jumping, playing, etc. The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago. I don't get what's going on. How can he be so miserable that he won't eat, but be fine a short time later? Does this sound like tummy troubles, teething, or something more serious? BTW, we have already been to the vet in the past for things that turned out to be minor, so I'd like not to rush to the vet this time if it's not necessary. Thanks in advance! Quote
Pawz4me Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 It could be any number of (probably very minor) things. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a much more regular occurrence. Quote
poiema Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Thank you! I had a feeling, but this is my first dog as an adult so I just wanted a second opinion. I have a feeling I picked a very delicate little pooch. Quote
