Hoggirl Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Every time I try to go onto college confidential from my iPad it is jumping over to Twitter! I'm not on Twitter, nor do I want to be! I have tried going directly to the site instead of using my bookmark, I updated my settings, and I have turned the Ipad off and on. Any idea what gives? Quote

Joules Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Apparently College Confidential was hacked and their site was redirecting to a malicious site set up to look like Twitter. I guess the hackers were phishing for Twitter passwords. From various posts, it seems like CC has been working to solve the problem, but it's reappeared several times. Hopefully it will be all fixed by today. Quote
