What do you do to calm or soothe yourself when you are unbelievably stressed?

It depends on the stress.

 

Cleaning works for short term, angry stress.

 

Escaping in a book or television or games works for longer term anxiety.

 

And let's not forget hanging around on here, answering silly threads, as a way to escape stress!

I clean. When my house is in order I can cope better.

If the house is clean, I play Lego video games.

 

When my house is clean I kill zombies with my boys. LOL
