I don't get the "Lucky Chair" commercial-are they trying to put luck into the chair or take it out?

They are trying to make the chair lucky so that his favorite team will win when he sits there.

She's the new Uhura. They got their chair luckified so their team would win. Apparently you can buy mojo with beer.

I thought the guys with the beer were trying to make it lucky for THEIR team, which would make it unlucky for the chair owner's team. No? I'm sure we'll have several more opportunities to evaluate it.

I think they were making the chair unlucky for the owner/lucky for them (they are for the other team). They say "Not anymore" to each other when the chair's owner walks by, asking them to move so he can sit in his lucky chair. Then you can see they guy's face and he looks like he is thinking "what happened here?" as if his team is suddenly falling apart.
