momsuz123
Do you like it? Give me the goods and bads, please. I am interested in this. I have been looking for a different math curriculum to use with my middle child lately. You all have been so helpful. Many of you recommend Right Start - by is that expensive - maybe I was looking at it wrong, who know. I look doing a hands on approach with math. The kiddo I need to do it with needs hand holding anyway - so I am not afraid of "teacher intensive" work. I like LOF - so does she. This is what got be thinking about doing more of living math approach with her. Thanks.
houseofkids&pets
Giving your post a bump since I am also interested in learning about this program. I have a ds who really struggles with math. :bigear:
momsuz123
Okay, so I bought this - and LOVE it. I am just getting started, but can tell that once I figure out how to do the charting, etc it is exactly what I need. The Math on the level yahoo group is also extremely helpful. Look at their "files" and all the posts. I love the flexibility I can have with teaching math now.
Hunter
I recently purchased Counting to Calculus to see if I can do a Math on the Level type method with it. Hardcopies and ebooks. I've been using the OOP Arithmetic Made Simple after How to Tutor lately. I'm going to try replacing the AMS with CTC, but still keep the HTT. Professor B is worth taking a look at. I've used it. It works quite well with my students and I teach okay with it, but it doesn't match my learning style and I feel blindfolded and breathless when preparing lessons. I prefer more graphics and notebooking to so much dense text to read and mostly verbal work. I've heard of people using Kitchen Table math like MOTL.
