Elinor Everywhere
This show was produced around 2005 I think, and it ran for 3 seasons. We'd never heard of it, but have almost finished Season 3 on Netflix. It's about a theater company producing Shakespeare and other works. Each season focuses on a particular Shakespeare play, as well as all the weird goings-on with the company. Strange, quirky show, but we're really enjoying it. Jenny in Florida
One of my all-time favorite shows! I've watched it through at least twice.
Elinor Everywhere
One of my all-time favorite shows! I've watched it through at least twice. I'm glad I'm not the only one! We are so bummed it only ran for 3 seasons, and we're trying to slow down and quit watching every night so we don't finish. :tongue_smilie: Only 2 shows left. Rats! Belacqua
I have kind of a love/hate relationship with Paul Gross (in the celebrity sense; I don't actually know the man and have no reason to believe he's anything other than a lovely person in real life :)), but I really liked Slings. If you like odd little Canadian shows, you might check out Little Mosque on the Prairie. Love that.
Melinda in VT
Best TV show ever. Funny, witty, yet with depth.
butterflymommy
Sounds great! We recently discovered Doc Martin which is pretty good, but there's some adult innuendo here and there sometimes going a bit further than innuendo.

Hmmmm, Slings & Arrows may not work for you, as there's definitely innuendo and sometimes more. It's a quirky and fun show, but not innocent. Try one...you'll know right off if it's for you! But I very much like the way he looks! :)
nmoira
I resisted it for awhile... I've been disappointed by Cancon too many times, and I didn't think it could possibly live up to the hype... But Slings & Arrows was a fantastic show. I've heard they might do another season. Fingers crossed.
