Soror
Has this year been wretched for all of you as well? Dh has brought home 3 illnesses this year, the last being the flu. I thought I was going to escape it but umm, no. I was near delirious last night w/ fever. I think I might lock him in the basement. Meanwhile he has been coughing nearly the entire winter and is now coughing up blood. He is finally going to the dr today and then coming home to help me. I feel much better then last night but am still achy, dizzy and have little stamina. I've tried to stay home as much as possible since I have a baby and don't want her getting sick but dh still has to work. I am drinking as much as I can and have a chicken carcass cooking now for bone broth soup for lunch. Mega dosing on d3 and vitC as well. melissad2
Yes! It seems that as soon as one gets well the next one gets sick! Now it seems that it's my turn :( I've started cleaning everything with bleach and Lysol.

Cassy
:grouphug: Yes, it seems to have been a bad winter for illnesses, they do happen from time to time. It'll be spring soon, and hopefully you'll all feel a lot better.
CAMom
It's been rough! We've had it, too. I've had a sore throat for a solid month! I've had the horrible cough for 2 weeks now including a trip to the ER in the middle of the night for a breathing treatment because I was wheezing so badly. I don't even have asthma. Hope you get better soon and that your dh gets good care at the dr today!
renmew
Yes, it's been a bad year for flu/respiratory stuff. My school has closed down today, the second time this week, because of ever increasing sick kids. We were on the news last night! Take care, and don't rush getting back on your feet. I've noticed with this thing that if you try to get back to a normal life too early, it hits you down again, just as hard as the first time. Hilltop
Yes! I cannot remember a season of sickness such as the one we've had this winter. We had type A influenza in early January, and this week my dds and I have had a stomach bug/head cold combination. My dh was coughing up blood when we had the lingering cough after the flu. He did go to the doctor, who wasn't concerned with the amount of blood, and it eventually cleared up. We have been doing everything I can think of... Sambucol, vitamin D, healthy foods, fresh air... I don't know what else to do! Hope you feel better soon!

ScoutTN
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Sorry you've all been sick! We haven't had the flu, but we have been sick a lot. Very unusual for us. My kids rarely see the doc except for a check up, but we have had colds, bronchitis etc. almost constantly since the fall! UGH! I am so ready for spring and summer...
