Rules for kids online. What blocking software do you use?

OK kids line up.

Where's the line?

I gotta potty!

Is it time to go?

I could make a fortune on software that blocked every word and action that didn't involve getting homeschoolers to get in a straight line.

Do You Answer The Door When Home Alone???

Well if I thought an inanimate object was talking to me I would probably wait until I was home alone to reply..

Confession time

Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.

It's been {mumble mumble} since my last confession ...

Experiences Flying with Pet Dog?  Pros?  Cons?

Make sure you fly in front of your pet dog, not behind him.  Flying drool in the eyes?  Not fun.

Make sure that if you are trying to catch your flying pet dog that you make sure you can fit in the same spaces.  A dog can fly in spaces that most people can't.  Can you imagine being wedged between two trees ten feet up in the air?  BTDT.  Again - not fun.

"My new roof is blowing off"

Okay, normally I don't condone violence, but do you have a gun? Look out your windows and if you see a wolf, just go ahead and take him out. Problem solved.

"My house smells of skunk"

Okay, same thing. This time, start searching in low dark places like closets and such. When you see him, take the previous advice.

(Says the non-gun-owning animal lover) ;)

It must be Jan/Feb again, I need some tea inspiration

I'd like to help you, but my dh really prefers that I keep our winter bedroom activities private.  Sorry!

**Gasp** I'm considering breaking up with my Keurig

Honey, I don't know why you waited so long...He's a one-time brew kind of man.  At this point in life, you need the security of a life-partner...someone who will be there for you all day every day, through thick and thin, through math corrections and mid-morning melt downs.  I'm telling ya'...mine brews a large, strong pot every morning at 6am sharp, and keeps it hot all day long.

Ditch the Keurig, girl.  You can do so much better. :grouphug:

How do you clean second story windows?

The same way I clean the ones on the 1st floor--Invisible Glass spray and paper towels!

You just use the Invisible Glass spray? I go ahead and use invisible paper towels and invisible fairy housecleaners, too.

What do you do post-BA?

Many people philosophize and discuss the humanities with their fellow Bachelors of Arts while cleaning the Frosty machines at Wendy's.

Others pursue an exciting and lucrative career in homeschooling.

What is a Nice Umbrella Term?

I tend to stick with 'umbrella;' however, 'parasol' or 'sun shade' could work if you're thinking of sun protection.  There is 'brolly' if you favor a British version or 'parapluie' if you like French.  And then there's always 'bumbershoot'!

ETA: I see I'm being redundant as Jean beat me to bumbershoot!

Kareni

"When your husband gets home?"

YEAH BABY!!!

Or

"When your husband gets home?"

I throw the kids at him, run to the closet with chocolate and lock the door

Or

"When your husband gets home?"

He better bring supper!

Expat life- I'm interested

If your name is Pat and you don't want it to be Pat anymore, it's very simple.  Just fill out a few forms, go to the courthouse, and voila, you can have a new name.  It's very liberating!
