"Wondering if I am going to have this baby before my shower". I think that unless you birth very fast, you probably have time to take a shower. I would suggest you do take a shower before childbirth... and during the laborious procedure.

"Another making bread question"

Ask the cat.

I'm so tired that this one took me a minute!

And I'm not tired and I still can't get it!

Kareni

Are you in America? If not, maybe you are not familiar with saying, "The cat is making bread," when a cat is digging her claws in and purring.

You are very funny. I didn't know how else to say it!

I'm in America, and I've never heard that. Maybe it's regional? Although, thinking about it, I've heard of cats kneading, but I never connected that to bread making....

Schooling with a newborn

<gently> There is no harm in waiting until the babe is four or five years old before beginning formal school work.

Edited to add: I would never have poked fun at this if I thought the OP was using poor grammar. As it was, the OP was talking about wheat, and the spelt/spelled thing just popped into my head. No offense intended.

I'm sorry! I actually forgot which thread I was on when I posted this. D'oh!

"Help me to be discouraging..." Well, that comes naturally to many people. I suggest spending most of your time with the most cynical person you can find. If one isn't available, spend copious hours watching politcal speeches. For even better results, compare campaign promises with actual results.

Considering I'm from the South, I should have thought of that before making the post.

Anyone ever done a short sale before?

In college I worked at The Gap and at the end of the summer we would have sales on all our summer apparel, including shorts. You wouldn't see them this time of year though.

Traveling to Rome and Don't Know Where to Start

I suggest starting from your present location. It makes things easier when it comes to packing.

Who has the secret

Victoria does ;)

Meal planning-breakfast, snacks, lunch-fighting

I wouldn't schedule the fighting into my lunch break, but YMMV.

Not at church, not at bars...

Not in trucks, not in cars...I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam I am.

Who's going to tackle Wednesday with me?

I don't know what poor Wednesday Addams did, but it can't be deserving of a group tackle from you lovely WTM ladies  Really, I am shocked! She is just a girl :crying:

If money wasnt an issue, what would you eat?

I think I would stick with paper bills and a multi-vitamin and avoid eating the coins anyway. Maybe a nice "Chinese yen salad"?

"Calculus peeps, question for you..."

Am I the only one picturing brightly colored marshmallow animals with teeny notebooks? And if they're asking me hard questions, I can bite off their delicious little heads.

How do you address rude people in public who need constraint?

I'd suggest pepper spray, mace or a personal tazer....oh, wait. Constraint. Not restraint.

Your opinion on sinks, please.

I think they are great. In fact, I love them so much I've got one in my kitchen and in my bathroom.

How would you handle a mom who...

Delicately, because as I recall

the whos down in whoville are very small.
