Jean in Newcastle
Argh! Another late start this morning. I think I might need a nap sometime too. Dh has been getting up in the middle of the night with low blood sugar. Of course he needs to get up and eat when that happens but it sure disrupts both of our sleep. Clean kitchen Laundry Start to work on the chiro. bill from hell. (Matching EOBs etc.) School at the library Latin tutor I'm sure there is more but I'm brain dead right now which is not a good sign for the rest of the day! TammyinTN
I was up until 4:30am....I get the whole brain dead thing. :svengo: Today...I'm going to clean house...vacuum, dust and mop. Change and wash bedding, clean bathrooms. I have to exercise--couch25K....it's going to be a very long day. Oh...and I have school and a mountain to grade and lesson plans to write for February. I so want to go back to bed.
nmoira
I'm in, since I've done all the laundry in the house, and am ready for something else. It's nice having a washing machine again. Meals, school. Thorough clean bathrooms, floors, nooks and crannies. Step one to getting ready for Game Day on Saturday (board games). Library, cull books and get new ones. Surfaces. That's it. :)
Susan in TN
I was up until 4:30am....I get the whole brain dead thing. :svengo: I so want to go back to bed. Yikes - yes, I can see wanting to go back to bed! I was only up from about 2-4:30 am (big storm blowing through and tornado sirens going off)...herding the family into our basement pantry (which is a mess) and trying to keep the 6yo from having a hissy fit. So dh takes out the dulcitar and discovers that our kids don't know the words to "Oh Susannah!"...it was quite a morning :D ) Already Done: Breakfast Ds to cc class got dressed music lessons of sorts To Do: Dishes Emails Peek at the fridge Ds audition recordings Laundry - put away Boys' laundry - supervise Inspect grape vine which was hit by trash bin in the storm/General storm clean-up - too rainy today Fill honey bottle Make more ginger lemon tea for coughing littles Lunch - mac & cheese, peas Dinner - Polish sausage, rice, mixed veggies, salad

Lizzie in Ma
Woodstove was out this morning and I had next to no kindling and damp wood. That was a fun 3 hours on and off of coaxing it into going. At least it is warmer today, but damp and raw. Laundry waiting for me to put away that I am ignoring. Boards were down this morning for awhile but as I was sitting at the computer having my coffee my neck locked up solid! Makes for a bit of a more difficult day but there are worse things. Fed all the animals and made lunches, loaded dishwasher, threw dinner in the crockpot and got the kids up for school. Took older to PT, long talk on the way home about how she has to utilize the tools she is being given to help herself get healthy. I could stand over her and MAKE her do follow up but that would destroy our relationship. We talked about how her father and I are doing everything possible finding doctors and therapists and physical therapists but if she won't put in the followup work, it's all for naught. She HAS to take ownership of her illness and the things she can do to help herself. Little though they may be. She has been sick so long sometimes I think she has given up. She gets so defensive and then it ends up with her crying over her self loathing at her inability to do school, to have a day where she isn't tired and in pain. I just don't know how to help her anymore than I am. sigh Still can't find stupid CLE mathbooks, I am getting a little crazy over it so I had youngest do computer math today. Promised her I would start letting her watch Firefly sometime this afternoon, so there is something to look forward to. Still have a dr. appointment at 3:30 with older one, a standard monthly check in but always takes 2-3 hours at least. Dh wants to go to Wed Nite Live at our church at 5:45, they are doing The Case for Christ. I know he really wants us to go but I really, really don't like going out in the evening, for anything. Odds are we will still be at the Dr.'s office anyway. Did I mention the laundry pile on my bed? Update: I PUT the laundry away!! Go me! ;)

Pippen
I have a zillion things I need to do today (including watching over a pet that had surgery yesterday) but for now I'm going to list one task that keeps getting shoved aside for other things. At the end of the day, please ask me if I've moved the Christmas boxes from the hallway into the crawlspace.

Julie Smith
Let's get the party started. :biggrinjester: My kids went to a friends house to play. (That friend almost always comes here on Wednesday). First time in weeks, or maybe months I had the house to myself in the afternoon. So I have a wild party planned. I walked to the convience store next door and bought a can of coke. My Mom is about to call me on my hands free phone set to visit with me while I do chores that require moving and going from room to room. (I usually do chores that require staying in one room for along time so that I can listen to an audio book with the kids when I clean) So let's the party started. Pippen
Oh no! Can you get it stopped? Thankfully my son was in the room and stopped the dishwasher and started mopping up with towels! I bailed what water out that I could and am heading out to stock up on some paper plates and cups plush go dishwasher shopping. It's beyond the age that we'd consider repairing it. Faithr
Did some math, history and little bit of grammar for school. Cleaned powder room vacuumed bedrooms Did two loads of laundry (stil need to be put away). Btw, would anyone like an 11 yo girl? I'm giving one away free. Faithr
My 11 yo was being very quiet in her room for a long time. I thought she was reading. Turns out she'd gotten into her older sister's make up (that older sister left at home when returning to college). She's all made up. Visions of Brooke Shields in Pretty Baby are flying through my mind. Gah!!!!
