I went to the dentist today--I cried in the chair simply from the stress and as a reaction from my previous dental hygenist (had to fill out a form relating the bad experience), but the dentist held my hand and was extremely kind and sympathetic. I am having nitrous oxide tomorrow while they do a deep cleaning (did not need a super-deep one! lol I don't know the terms). On Thurs, I am having a root canal on a front tooth that already has a crown on it, and a crown on a back, broken tooth. We are able to use our flex funds, and I am able to be sedated. I am so relieved! I will need another crown, and an extraction/bridge or an extraction/implant for a bottom front tooth that has "died"--my body is rejecting the tooth. Fun times. I do feel so much better, and this practice is very used to people freaking out a little--they are a sedation dentistry practice, and I am sooo grateful.
