Anyone familiar with rescueme.org ? I am looking for a place to make a donation.

There is nothing I see on their website to indicate security, so I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the organization. Alternatively, if anyone knows how I can check it out, let me know!

I'm not familiar with rescueme.org, but petfinder.com is a similar organization, and I would feel comfortable donating to them. Petfinder has been around a long time, and I think all my local shelters list their available pets on it.

 

If it were me, I would probably donate directly to a specific animal rescue rather than to an umbrella organization, but I *applaud* any effort to help homeless animals! This is my favorite rescue; I have no connection to them other than supporting their work and their philosophy:

Thank you for the reply. I am donating to a specific arm of their rescue in memory of my mother's cat. The only one that is exclusively for that breed didn't return an email asking a question about donation.
