mitzvahmommy
Where do you turn for used curriculum? And used books in general? Besides Amazon, of course.
Guest
*If* I buy used, I always can find what I need here. :)

TengoFive
I've had good luck lately with homeschoolclassifieds.com.
ChicoryChick
Usually here, homeschoolclassifieds.com or local used book sales. When I lived in PA there was a great used book sale every year at a smaller convention I used to attend.
Amy M
I asked this a couple of months ago. I was pointed to vegsource.com and a couple of other used book sites. Of the used book sites, my favorite is abebooks.
SilverMoon
Half Price Books is my favorite local source. Online I usually end up at Amazon Marketplace. I recently nabbed a $56 book on my '13-'14 list for $11 there. If you make wishlists of the books you intend to buy it makes it easier to scroll through and see if prices have dropped. freeindeed
This site, homeschool classifieds, vegsource, and yahoo groups for the curriculum I'm wanting to purchase-for example I just bought Oak Meadow 6 from someone on the OM Yahoo group. shell0830
Goodwill turns up some finds sometimes. Especially literature picks. Here, paperbacks are 69¢. I also found reference and textbooks.
Staceyshoe
I look here, at homeschoolclassifieds.com, half.com, or paperbackswap (usually have to wait for what I want, so it pays to plan ahead). Really hoping the Classifieds here are searchable soon!
Arboreal TJ
I've had some good luck with eBay lately, course you can also buy used curriculum for 2 or 3 times the price of new there too ;-)
Susie in MS
Besides all that have been mentioned here there are also FS boards at vegsource and homeschoolreviews .
arborite
I look here, at homeschoolclassifieds.com, half.com, or paperbackswap (usually have to wait for what I want, so it pays to plan ahead). Really hoping the Classifieds here are searchable soon! There is a workaround that allows you to search classifieds. An admin posted it in a sticky. Go to Google, and type this in in the search box: site:forums.welltrainedmind.com/classifieds/ {KEYWORDS YOU ARE SEARCHING} Voila, classifieds search! Holly
This is a good one. They often have new overstocked books as well. http://hslibrarybuilder.com/ http://www.alibris.com/ is another one I've used. I think the other ones I've used have all been mentioned. lillybell
I buy from people here, homeschoolclassifieds, ebay, amazon, Goodwill, craigslist (although not often since the listings are scarce but I always check just in case), and from exodusbooks.com. Those are the main places I buy from. Oh and I do frequent local homeschool sales.
