Wildiris
DD~9 wants to enter contests--photography, writing, or art. Is there a current list of contests for kids K-8? Thanks :hat:

mumto2
Nature Friend magazine publishes pictures drawn from their lessons monthly. They also publish poetry and illustrations. The lessons are great. Dd has entered monthly since she was 5 and loves it. Gets published occasionally.
Farrar
Doodle 4 Google's deadline is coming up. I wasn't sure at first because of the way the contest rules are written, but homeschoolers are, indeed, eligible. However, if a homeschooler wins, then you don't win the school money. BUT, you do get a smaller (still exciting) technology stipend for your homeschool and your child can opt to donate the rest of the money to a local library or public school of their choosing.
