Sahamamama
If your student confuses allusion with illusion, or mixes up ware, wear, or where, here's a fun site that helps unravel those confusing words. HTH.

Sahamamama
Thank you! My dd 4th grader has trouble with this in her writing! We came across this when my 2nd grader was talking to her sisters (K'ers) about the "many ways to spell long E" -- and her examples were Pete/peat and meet/meat. Then my husband had to go and add in Peet (the coffee, what else?) and mete, which made it all even more confusing, LOL. This site can lead to some fun conversations about words and their meanings, not just their spellings. We also like All About Homophones. :)
