App Friday (Hands-On Equation 1 app free for iPad)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I saw this from the HOE newsletter - they are offering Hands-on Equation 1 for free this Friday.

This is the page for App Friday - there are other educational apps (iOS) that will be free or reduced.

This is the download center - click after midnight in your timezone to see which apps are available.

ipad only. Bother.
So it will only work on iPad and no other i anything? I'm new to all this. What about an iPhone? Or Macbook? I'm guessing the answer is no.

Sorry redsquirrel - I'm an Android user , so I'm disappointed too. It's my first time seeing this website, but it looks like its aim is iOS. At least this week's downloads are all iOS. I changed the thread title.

Shanvan - when you click on the Apple icon under each item, it brings you to the iTunes store and the left column states what it is compatible for. The first few I checked were all iPad though..

There are some apps that are universal and will work on both an iphone or an ipad. But, for the most part, they don't overlap. If you own an iphone/itouch then only buy apps for the iphone/itouch.

And I have no idea of apps work on macbooks, but I assume they do not.
