Pegasus
It is sold through Geography Matters but their website says it is "temporarily unavailable." Is it sold out or are they bringing out a new version? I was just looking at this for DD11. It says 6th grade through high school. What levels have folks successfully used this program? How helpful is the extra activity book? Thanks, Pegasus
Jackie in AR
My boys used it last year in 7th grade, and my dd will use it this coming year in 6th grade. It was pretty easy for my boys. Hands-on activities are included in the textbook; the student workbook contains all the "geography" work: maps, etc. ETA: And I'm not sure why it shows up as not available. I bought both of our textbooks used from Amazon last year for very good prices.

My second child will be using it in highschool. I have a schedule for it on my blog, and was in contact with Mrs. Runkle in forming it (the schedule) spring of this year. She did not mention anything about changing the book. . .so, if anything, I would assume they just need to do another reprinting? (guessing)
JFSinIL
I did not even realize there was a student book! Thanks for the head's up. I just googled it and found it for sale elsewhere. I bought it from HSLDA folks.
Pegasus
Thanks, everyone. I think I'll keep my eye out for a used copy. It looks good but I'm not necessarily in a rush to implement it. Pegasus

The rest of the program looks great. This may be one of the best homeschooling finds ever for me.
Christine
How helpful is the extra activity book? Nuts, missed this question. I would say the Student Activity Guide isn't worth the money. It's basically a blank map set and you can find those online easy enough. . .better even as the ones I have in my guide have numbers for each country. My guide is from 1999 though. . .I don't know if they've changed them at all.
