melissad2 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 I've posted before about my dad. He has prostate cancer and has been declining the last few months. Well, he had trouble breathing yesterday and my mom took him to the ER. They found he has several PE's (blood clots in his lung). He's in ICU and stable for now. Good vibes and prayers are welcome! melissad2 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Share Posted January 16, 2013 He's stable for now. Still in CCU. He's maintaining his oxygen saturation on oxygen by nasal cannula right now. He's alert and talking but says his sides are hurting. The dr hasn't been in yet today so hopefully I will have more news soon. It is going to hurt to take deep breaths but he must do so in order to get good oxygen saturation. The more deep breaths, the less it will hurt. He is doing better this morning and was able to talk to me on the phone and eat breakfast!! Please continue to pray as we are not out of the woods yet!
