caitlinsmom
I am teaching a literature/history class at our local co-op this semester. I had my lessons planned out but as I have been working through activities for the class I am changing direction a bit. I need a few good recommendations for life in about 1900-1905 and general history. It has been quite sometime since I read about the era. I would like to brush up before teach. :) Any suggestions? tex-mex
What about All of a Kind Family? Glimpse of life in a Jewish immigrant family living in the early 1900's in NYC. I liked how the author described the Jewish holidays and religion. http://www.amazon.com/All-Kind-Family-Sydney-Taylor/dp/0440400597#reader_0440400597

Halftime Hope
You didn't say what age. Little Britches is a wonderful book set in 1906-8, set in Colorado.
