BlueTaelon
That would be why I like boxed programs and like K12 so much, I don't need to think or plan beyond "here's the lesson, check Brainpop for a video to go with it for my visual learner"

Night Elf
I've always liked curriculum already planned out for me. When I tried to do it on my own, I got bogged down in the details and spent more time planning than implementing. That was true even when my kids were early elementary and I don't think that makes me a bad homeschooling parent. When I finally figured it out, the kids were in middle school and I started using K12 and we had the best homeschooling years ever. For high school, we use Keystone and I don't regret it or feel bad about it at all. I say Yay Me! for doing what is right for our family. :) Are you really looking for curriculum ideas or just musing? If you're looking, you might want to consider posting on the General Education board and specifying subjects. If you're just musing, you're not alone.
