Kathleen in LV
Here are some lists I acquired from earlier threads on here: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/historical-movies-and-documentaries-to-supplement-the-story-of-the-world-volume-one/ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AumgWD14ZCPSdGNRQVVjeVotbjcwVlByV3pPS2xJRlE&output=html http://app4.websitetonight.com/projects2/4/1/3/8/808314/uploads/Historical_Movies_and_Documentaries.pdf I haven't viewed any of the movies myself. Hope that helps! Kathleen

pitterpatter
I really like the Ancient Civilizations for Children series for Ancients. If you have access to a big-city library, they may have them. That's where we get ours. http://www.libraryvi...J6WFFJDM6XP986B If you're not starting ancients until next year, you might come back to my blog at the end of the school year. I post all of the videos we watch. We are using History Odyssey, but with the Usborne Encyclopedia of the Ancient World as our spine. I do use the books and projects lists from the SOTW activity guide. Most of the material crosses over.
