mysticmomma
We are doing "galloping the globe" and living it so far! I'm doing a brief introduction and wanted to read a bit about the explorers but all the books I have are soooo dry. It is my 6yo k'er ds and my 8yo 2nd grade dd. ds is still not an independent reader but has a 2nd grade comprehension and dd has at least a 4th grade comprehension. I like books to read as a family at bed time that are "stories" and have our meaty fact based books for daytime lessons. So... Fun explorer books? Beyond bios?
