amyrobynne
Last summer, I had the kids do Xtramath most days and it was amazing how much better they were at math facts by fall without much time or pain on any of our parts. My oldest son will be done with Singapore 3B at the end of the year and he pretty much has all 4 types of math facts down now. Maybe Xtramath would help him improve speed a bit, but I don't think it's that important at this point. I don't want him to take 2.5 months off of math, though. Would the Sprints level 3 book be a decent way to keep up math skills without too much time or effort? They seem a lot like the HIG book's Mental Math pages, which he does now in addition to using the textbook, workbook, and IP. The other option would be to go through Beast Academy 3, but we use that occasionally now and I think he might consider that to be more work, even though it's more interesting.
